Joseph A. “Joe” Irby

Joseph A. “Joe” Irby  grew up in the electric power infrastructure business.  In 1926, Joe’s grandfather founded Stuart C. Irby Co., an electrical supply and contracting company.   Irby Construction was established as a separate company in 1950, and became an international leader in powerline construction.

Joe joined the company in the 1970s and eventually ran the construction business.  Under Joe's leadership, the company successfully completed major projects from south Florida to Alaska and from southern California to New England.  Joe was instrumental in obtaining major EPC contracts, establishing an apprenticeship program, increasing profits through strategic partnerships, and obtaining long-term maintenance contracts.  Joe resigned from full-time operational management with the company enjoying record profits, a substantial backlog, and an essentially debt-free balance sheet.

Today, Joe uses his lifetime of experience in construction and management to empower  businesses and business leaders to successfully execute for peak performance.
